Fire Risk Assessments
Fire Risk Assessments n Bristol, Bath Weston from Balmoral Systems Ltd.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) came into effect in October 2006 and replaced over 70 pieces of fire safety law and made you responsible for Fire Safety. The FSO applies to all non-domestic premises in England and Wales, including the common parts of blocks of flats and houses in multiple occupation (HMOs). The law applies to you if you are responsible for business premises, responsible for a part of a dwelling, a charity or voluntary organisation, a contractor with a degree of control over any premises or providing accommodation for paying guests.
Under the FSO, the responsible person must undertake a fire safety risk assessment and implement and maintain a fire management plan.
Our fully independent, professional body registered Risk Assessors will undertake a Fire Risk Assessment at you premises.
Following the Fire Risk Assessment, a fire safety management plan would be produced and issued to the responsible person. Included within this document would be:
- Documented Fire Risk Assessment including photographs
- List of significant findings
- An Action Plan including remedial recommendations where required
- Detailed description of installed fire equipment
