This year, balmoral Systems and the staff rallied together and donated a large amount, of essential supplies for this foodbank. Balmoral donated many essential bulk items to help this cause.

They have been open for years and during that time they have helped more than 60,000 people in a crisis who have been referred to them.

They have four outlets that provide access to food support in Avonmouth, Henbury, Hotwells and Lawrence Weston, In 2019 they moved into their Social Justice Hub in Avonmouth, with the vision of extending their support and providing a more holistic service.   The Hub now houses their office and warehouse and their growing services including a Homebank, Free Advice Appointments, Cookery Courses, Dancercise Classes, Support for the Homeless and they will soon be opening their Woodworking Workshop to help tackle Social Isolation.  You can be assured of a warm welcome and a listening ear when you visit or contact them. St Peter’s Hospice is a local charity that provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area. We have been established for over 40 years with the majority of our support provided in people’s homes.

People receiving our care have a wide range of conditions, including cancer, heart failure, lung disease and neurological illness. Support is focused around the physical, psychological, social and spiritual issues that can arise as a result of serious illness, in order to improve the quality of a person’s life. Everyone is unique, and we provide support with that in mind.
