NSI Fire Gold – Since 1990, The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) has been the main regulator for companies
in the electronic security sector. The NSI approves and regulates firms that install and maintain Fire and Security
systems. NSI operates several levels of approval from “Bronze” – for small or start-up companies, through “Silver”
for medium size or more established firms, to the highest “Gold” scheme for companies who can demonstrate that
they adhere to the strictest standards for fire and security firms. NSI inspects companies to the requirements of the
BAFE adopted schemes SP203. These schemes are acknowledged by the Fire & Rescue Services, Government,
Insurers and the fire industry as helping companies involved in fire protection prove their competence. Balmoral
Systems is a NSI Fire Gold approved Company

BAFE SP203 – BAFE is an independent, ‘not for profit’ organisation and our registered companies include
manufacturers, installers and maintainers of fire protection products – Balmoral are accredited, by the NSI, for
all the modules of The BAFE SP203 Scheme which include Design, Installation, Commissioning, Handover and
Maintenance of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems

globally implemented standard for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to
enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships.
